I wanted to thank you for hosting The Medicine You Are workshop, I truly appreciated the knowledge and teachings from the outside looking in of loving myself and learning how to love myself again, I was really interested in learning how I was going to be my own medicine and little did I know I had the strength knowledge and wisdom all within me already but I needed to relearn and how to readjust my thought process and thanks to this beautiful workshop I was able to learn how to love myself and learn new practices such as mantras, self affirmations and meditations, I love to consider myself a matriarch in training and I also have loved ones and youth reaching out to me and I love to teach and share the love and knowledge that I’ve gained and learned so with this workshop I have more to share on how to be your own medicine

Michelle has been Cando’s go to MC for many of our events, such as webinars, Indigenous Coaching with Kendal Netmaker, the AB Links to Learning Summit and the Cando Economic Development Youth Summit (EDYS). She brings such an energy to her role as Master of Ceremonies that the audience leaves inspired. The audience is always taken back by the enthusiasm she brings to the event. She is a professional and well prepared, as well able to fill in any gaps and adapt to any event as needed. Michelle goes above and beyond the role by adding her own vibrant flair to engage the audience via her experience and knowledge.

"Iskwew Health strength training class has been a game changer for me. I have been a participant for a few months and had gains in what I can lift but also my overall health. Michelle’s class is a great mix of fun and challenging exercises. I appreciate her knowledge of the moves and the adjustments she tells us to watch out for. I would recommend this class to anyone just starting out or for people who want to level up their goals! I started out with 3-5lbs and now are lifting 7-10lbs."

I've been going to Iskwew Health for 5 years & I have achieved so much with Michelle's help. Her classes are always exciting & they really do keep you coming back for more. Michelle really is one of a kind and it won't take you long to realize it-she pushes you to be better, stronger, and moe accepting/loving of yourself. Iskwew Health facilitated gentle yoga for our group of over 100 staff! Michelle did an amazing job as she was very engaging. Her strong messages were so fitting for our group. She made the connection of how yoga can improve our lives. Michelle was great at getting everyone involved. (even the newbies!). Iskwew Health Center is a wonderful facility. The community they have built at this studio is just so incredible, everyone is super supportive and encouraging. The variety of workout plans is great for woman of all levels. At times when it was hard to stay motivated, working with Michelle has given me the confidence to work at getting healthier through exercise. Her cheerful disposition makes exercise fun and always ready to make useful suggestions and modifications. She is also so caring and puts a lot of thought and effort into this amazing program. I highly recommend Iskwew Health to anyone looking for a flexible fitness regime, you will leave feeling so happy and energized each time. In her facilitation skills, Michelle provides a supportive and caring environment for participants of any program she offers. My unit contracted her for a team building training session which built morale and communication in my team. The skills built during a grief & self care workshop have assisted my staff in their day to day work by building resilience and strength in the face of adversity.
